This is a preview of sorts of my upcoming webcomic. This is Norea and she will be the central character to the comic. I’m still trying to find a look for her in terms of a outfit, thus these different looks. I’m not really sure what will work best but it is one of those things I will know it when I see it. For now it’s keeping trying different looks and once that is settled it will be on to making the actual comic.
Well I have done a pretty bad job of updating things here. At least there is a partially good excuse as I have been working on a guest strip for ActionMan Adam. You can find it here. My thanks to Marc for giving me the chance to do the guest strip. It was a rewarding learning experience, even if it was a frustrating process for me.
Probably past due for Amy Pond’s husband. This one falls under the usual troubles with male characters for me, almost but not quite right.
After having troubles with a few other things I just wanted to try something different. Here is my take on Kermit. It was actually quite a bit of fun putting this one together.
More with Amy again as I need a bit of practice with lettering.
Once more with the Queen.
Looks like the third time was the charm as this one looks more like Pam should. A bit ironic since I rushed through this one a bit and fudged the outfit. These things really do come down to getting the hair right in the end.
This one didn’t take me too long which was nice. Probably due to being a hairless character, so I did not have to struggle with that aspect like I do with other drawings.
I rushed through this one a bit, but it seemed to turn out ok. It isn’t Futurama if you don’t have Fry around after all.
Keeping with the Futurama theme here is Kif. I was past due for drawing something non human and Kif was a good place to start.
